Every year universities open their admissions for students all over Pakistan, but many students find it difficult to meet the deadlines for submitting the admission forms along with the required documents. There is a clash when the university admissions and the Board/A-level examinations are commencing at the same time. Also, if a student wants to take admission in two universities at a time, he finds it difficult to stand in long queues and waste time that he should be spending on his exam preparation. They get around 40 days to prepare for their finals, out of which 10 to 15 days are wasted in the hustle of admission process. In this way, students also miss out on scholarship opportunities and their studies are badly affected due to poor time management. They have to fill in their documents and pay the required fee in crowded banks. All of this effort is done at the cost of precious hours and a great deal of money is wasted.
The foundation of Dastawezat is an attempt to help such students who are making a tough call at this time of year.
Do you know: Pakistan produces about 445,000 university graduates and 10,000 computer science graduates per year. (Source: Wikipedia)
Students are being facilitated with the ease that they can now send the scanned copies of their documents through E-mail or Whatsapp and transfer their fee through EasyPaisa. The rest will be taken care of.
The current management team of Dastawezat comprises of three people; Wajahat Imam, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, and Waseem Sajjad. Together they make a considerate team which used their intellect to empower youth in such a manner that was never thought of before. Meanwhile, their idea is fresh and there are no such service providers in their competition.
Dastawezat not only provides information to the students regarding admissions and deadlines but also connects them with the students currently studying in different universities, who are the providers of complete knowledge of the desired institutions, their specifications and scholarship programs.
The service is provided initially for universities that are mentioned below:
Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI)
University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Peshawar, Taxila
National University of Science and Technology (NUST) – All campuses
Khyber Medical University, (KMU) Peshawar
Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad
Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, (MAJU) Islamabad
There are franchises of Dastawezat established in these universities and their student ambassadors are carrying out jobs of the collection of documents and bank drafts, printing, and submission. Each student has to pay Rs. 500 surcharge for the submission of one form. However, he gets a discount if he refers the service to a certain number of friends. Through this scheme, their marketing strategy is working well and they have healthy traffic on social media. More and more students are preferring to use the service.
If you are a student and you need to save your time and money, you better check up on this service too.
