This year on Eid-Ul-Fitr our cinema screens were banged with Pakistani movies like Bin Roye and Wrong No along with Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Another new Pakistani movie “Jawani Phir Nahi Ani” was released on the first day of Eid-ul-Azha i.e. 25th September 2015, which has proven to be a big blockbuster in Pakistan. It has broken the record of famous Hollywood movie “Furious 7” by earning Rs. 14 Cores in the first week of release.
The movie also broke the record of Pakistani movie “Waar” by earning 2.7 Crore at the first day in the Pakistan’s box office.

- Saturday (Day 2): 2.68 Crore
- Sunday (Day 3) : 2.70 Crore
- Monday (Day 4) : 2 Crore
Moreover, the movie has also earned a 7.9 rating on IMDB.
The movie was screened in 85 cinemas of Pakistan, in all big cities like Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi. The film was also released in India, South Africa, Australia and Europe.
On release of its trailers, the movie had had received criticism from Pakistani viewers for showing actress in skimpy clothes. Responding to the criticism Hamza Ali Abbasi, the leading actor of JPNA, announced that neither he supports the content of the movie, nor he will participate in any of the promotional events.
Before release the movie had also won million hearts by songs like “Tarang Ka Jor” and “Fair and Lovely Ka Jalwa”. and in just a few days, JPNA has made it into the top 8 Pakistani films ever (regarding box office results).
The movie was directed by the legendary actor Nadeem Baig. It was produced by Salman Iqbal, Shahzad Nasib, Humayun Saeed and Jarjees Seja under production banner Six Sigma Plus.
As regard the cast of the film, it includes Humayun Saeed as the leading actor, Ismail Tara, Javed Shiekh, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Vasay Chaudhry, Ahmad Butt, Sohai Ali Abro, Bushra Ansari, Sarwat Gilani, Ayesha Khan, Mehwish Hayat and Uzma Khan.
If you ever thought a Pakistani film won’t be able to compete with the Bollywood flicks, then you must go and watch this movie.
Prominent Indian film producer and director Mahesh Bhatt was in Lahore on the invitation of Humayun Saeed to attend the movie’s Premiere show. Talking to the reporters, he said that the Pakistan has a rich culture and that the Pakistan film industry is turning around as better films are being produced now. He also tweeted about the movie to be a “Blockbuster”.
“Jawani Phir Nahi Ani” is highly regarded as an adventure comedy film. The film consists of four married friends who, unhappy with their wives, plan to go to Bangkok to enjoy. You should watch the movie to know what happens next!
