The PPP government, from the first day had a major issue in understanding the needs of the masses. The people of Pakistan have been exploited many times, with the slogans like ‘Roti, Kapra aur Makan’ Yet PPP has constantly failed to protect the rights of people of Sindh.

Let’s take a look at the 10 reasons why PPP failed the People of Sindh!

1. The drought situation in Thar

Thar was such a small issue and most of the people forgot what happened to the district last year, how many people died due to hunger. They failed to manage the drought situation in Thar. More than a thousand people died in the last couple of years due to lack of food and fatal diseases.

2. Lack of Education

The absence of Educational institutions is also a reason why the people of Sindh do not trust the party anymore. There are around 40,000 ghost teachers and around 6,000 ghost schools. 60 percent schools don’t have a drinking water facility, 40 percent without power and 35 percent with no walls.

3. Corruption

Sindh being the second most overly populated province of Pakistan is arguably the most corrupt region as well. The presence of bribery amongst government authorities, fraud in public funds, bribery in public procurement and a very active land mafia is uncontrollable in this region.

4. Looting People

The Rulers of PPP have been looting the people from both hands in the name of leadership, which is nowhere to be seen. Most likely, the lack of an effective system of accountability has made them more fearless for being caught.

5. Unable to manage the Floods situation

The provincial government faces its biggest challenge every year in the form of floods that displace more than 20 million people in rural Sindh each year.

6. The so called Slogan ‘Roti Kapra aur Makan’

Using slogans of roti kapra makaan (clothes, bread and house for every one), PPP in fact made the people of Sindh poorer, undeveloped and made sure they move back to the stone age.

7. Wadera Culture

Despite being a socialist party, it is ruled by Waderas and their betas. Big lavish Pajeros along with an army of personal guards, this is the true image of a Sindhi Wadera that ruined the image of PPP.

8. Benazir Income Support Program

The Benazir Income Support Program has failed to provide social protection to the poor. About 95 per cent of the people did not find the grant helpful in meeting their expenditures.

9. PPP under Zardari

Do I need to say anything else?

10. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

A guy who doesn’t know if he is a Bhutto or a Zardari, a guy who barely speaks the language of his country, a guy who has no training in Politics is known as Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. The worst thing EVER happened to PPP!

My Suggestion for PPP

If Pakistan People’s Party wants to be on the top place again as they were in the time of Bhutto then they should focus on what the people of Sindh want. They want proper education, they want well-stocked and well-staffed clinics and hospitals in the province, they want jobs, they want freedom from corruption and terrorism, they want Justice, and they want true and honest leadership!
